Thanks for the report, I'll try to look into it, but this is gonna take a while probably. Oh, and btw, where's hitpoint located when you shooting?
In surround mode the crosshair and the hitpoints are located much farther to the right than it is in normal widescreen aspect ratios.
But did it matches the crosshair or? That's important to know.
In GTA III the crosshair does not match where the bullets go.
Okay, I'll see what I can do. Too bad I can't test anything because it works fine on pseudo resolutions like 1920x540.
I was able to reproduce this problem in GTA3. It works fine in VC though, and I think I'll be able to move crosshair closer to the center: http://i.imgur.com/Mgz7LpJ.jpg Not sure how to fix it in GTA3 yet.
Just found a way to fix it, I'll upload a test version soon.
That's great! I'll be on vacation for the next few days, but I'll be able to test it on Sunday night.
Accidentally closed the issue.
Done: https://www.sendspace.com/file/i1285p https://www.sendspace.com/file/q8ob2x I'll reupload to github in a bit.
I had just enough time to test both of them before leaving. They both work great, thank you for all your work!
Cool, thanks for the report.
This fix also mostly works for surround resolutions. I'm playing at 6048x1080 and the crosshair is located much farther to the right than normal, the hitpoint is where the crosshair should be. I have not tested it with San Andreas.
Here are two images to compare with. This is the proper placement of the cross-hair that occurs when I play the game at 1920x1080: This is the improper placement when I play at my native resolution:
Other than this, the fix is flawless for me on GTA III. Thanks for your hard work!
