[NFSMW] Please add option for disabling borderless fullscreen #719

I noticed weird behaviour when I use borderless fullscreen option in NFS Pro Street (and as it turned out it also affects NFS Most Wanted and maybe all other titles). When I'n in default fullscreen mode and vsync turned on - my framerate usually at 60, but at some rare moments it can be as low as 51 fps, but it is okay and fully playable. But when I use borderless fulscreen option (WindowedMode = 1 in NFSProStreet.GenericFix.ini) framerate can be only 60 or 30 frames per second - no in between. I think it is called double buffer vsync (I think digital foundary call it that way), so as a result I use WindowedMode = 0 in that game. But there is no such option in NFS MW, and in this title I have similiar issue - in the moments when without vsync I can have 59 fps, with vsync I get only 30. So I hope this issue can be adressed. Thank you.

IIRC this 'mod' doesn't have the option as the needed ModLoader already provides Windowed Mode in the config.

BTW: I just installed NFS MW on another PC yesterday and noticed that V-Sync was limiting to 30fps, when the PC couldn't quite maintain 60fps, and I don't recall having set Windowed Mode; I can check if I'm back home. Have it limitied to 60fps via Afterburner/RivaTuner now.

I get stutter in NFS MW when using the widescreen fix. I wish there was a solution to the issue. The lag/stutter that happens for a brief two seconds while driving around the city is really bothering me.

This stutter/lag also occurs in Need for Speed World

There's no real solution, as far as I know. The game has poor frame pacing and shadows cause people issues. Old game, old engine. bad port.

As for the original topic, there is no windowed mode as d4rkne55 mentioned. It's already running in fullscreen.

having borderless fullscreen would also help with custom color calibrations as they get disabled in exclusive fullscreen
