1.1.2.1 is same version as Origin and that one doesn't work either here. I think fully patched game isn't supported.
I mean, I can look into it but I think the problem was the code was so different that it's impossible to support multiple versions. Steam 1.0.0.1 is what Generic Fix was tested and made for.
I believe that effort would be appreciated.
If you're not willing to work on this - can you tell me whether my DVD copy is compatible with the Widescreen Fix in any (un)patched version?
This does nothing on my Need For Speed Carbon Collector's Edition v1.4
EDIT: nvm I just had to override dinput8.dll in wine. I play on Linux.
I believe that effort would be appreciated.

Sorry for the bump, but this is something I was recently wondering about as well. I was considering giving the good old Undercover another spin after all these years, but the WS Fix is said to have been made for the Steam version primarily.
I still have my old DVD of the European release, but I have no idea what executable would even work with it, if at all.
And that said, the Origin version would be in dire need of a fix from my POV, as this version does not seem to play well with modern systems like, at all (possibly related to the core affinity). Last I tried it, it was a stuttering disaster. Quite literally unplayable...
Lots of duplicates of such issue. This one should be closed as well.
Hi there,
I really appreciate your work.
After using your fixes with Most Wanted and Carbon now I wanted to test Undercover.
Sadly, the game simply won't start as soon as I copy your Widescreen Fix files into the directory.
Some basic information: DVD-Version (German) Patched to v1.0.1.18 (via NFS-Planet) Windows 10 20H2 Intel Xeon E3-1246 v3 AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT with driver 21.2.3 Monitor with 2560x1440 @ 60 Hz resolution
With the Widescreen Fix files "installed" the command window stays open for about ten seconds just to close without further notice. According to Windows problem reporting the error seems to be related to the file NFSUndercover.GenericFix, as you can see below. The ASI-File is marked as "Fehlermodulname", or "Name of faulty module":
Do you have any ideas how to get the game running with Widescreen Fix applied? If you need more information or data for trouble shooting, please let me know.
