"Load Failed" after editing profile #3

After editing a profile, whether a brand new one or an old one that has stats and medals already, the game says Load Failed and the only option is to go back to the profile menu. I tried running as administrator as well.

Are you using the GOG version or Steam version of SWBFII? What version of the editor are you using?

GOG version. I tried both gui version and the last command line version.

Unfortunately it doesn't work with the GOG version. Only the steam version (for the time being). I haven't figured out a happy way using both yet.

Alright so I edited with the Steam version then after launching successfully in the Steam version, I moved the profile over to the GOG version and it worked. So apparently just logging in to the profile on the Steam version is enough to correct whatever the GOG version doesn't like.
