Node.js 16 actions are deprecated. Please update the following actions to use Node.js 20: actions/checkout@v3. For more information see: https://github.blog/changelog/2023-09-22-github-actions-transitioning-from-node-16-to-node-20/

Using usethis::use_github_action("check-release") creates a different yaml file (R-CMD-check.yaml) which has very similar content to the current check-release.yaml.

Specific version @v4.5.0 for gh-pages action is used in the r-lib examples.

I didn't read the original info message carefully... It was just actions/checkout@v3 that needed to be upgraded to actions/checkout@v4 to avoid the Node versioning issue. Now (finally) sorted I think...!
