I live in north Africa, and for me english or french are my foreign languages, so it's easy for me to differentiate between latin fonts that make reading easy or not, and I'm sorry but Lexend make reading difficult, why ? because it has big issue with white spaces that separate words, for me a line looks like straight continuous letters put one after the other, because white space is not enough to separate words that are shown like bold. See attached pdf and open it at 100% zoom and tell me which font you find easy to read TexGyre Heros or Lexend ? For Lexend is looking really bad. Untitled 1.pdf

Hi @medmedin2014 In your PDF I see Lexend Deca in use. Did you try one of the 6 other named instances such as Lexend Exa or Lexend Giga? There is also the variable font of Lexend where you can select your individual preference in spacing. You can access the named instances and the variable font on this repo.

@ThomasJockin Those are much worse that Deca, they make more space between letters and make reading impossible at normall 12pt size. See attached pdf. Untitled 1.pdf For variable fonts, they are not supported and can't be used by LibreOffice 7.1 or any office suite I know.

It's just I want to print some phrases on A4 papers for some children to learn reading french and I thought this font is adequate because it appears in google search as font that makes reading easy. Thanks for your help :)
