Sometimes the GUI doesn't show while restoring it from notification area (shows an empty window). Some traductions missing (Some phrases in english, others in german)

Major problem : can't activate the locking functionality, always on simulation mode (Simulationsmodus?) Apply button missing from GUI.

Despite the fact I can't use it, good job it sounds promising!

I'm on ubuntu feisty 2.6.20-16 french with compiz fusion, version 1.1.9.

Ok, I'm on ubuntu feisty without fusion but beryl. The translation issue seems strange, it might have to do with your locales installed. Could it be that all the phrases that are not GNOME standard buttons are german and the buttons are all english? The next version includes a french version anyway so that problem should be gone then. If the GUI does not show up correctly, what happens if you change the window's size. I had Problems with beryl in general that sometimes windows do not show up correctly but are being correctly repainted after resizing them. According to the GNOME Human Interface Guidelines there is no apply button anymore. All settings are to be applied immediately. Also note that you should not close the window with your window managers' close button but by pressing the Close Button on the lower right. I have had issues too with closing it directly. I still try to find out what is going wrong there. I hope this helps. (By highno)
