Addon slows Anki significantly #178

Every time when finishing a deck and heading to the main deck overview I need to wait 2-5 seconds until the screen loads. Same happens when opening the Leaderboard itself. The problem described was already present on earlier versions and it feels like the delay got shorter but still it bothers me too much. Atm, I disable the add-on most of the time and only enable it a few times a week. Any ideas for solutions? Thanks! :)

Anki 2.1.52 Leaderboard v2.1.0 MacOS 12.0.1

Without the leaderboard on the homescreen and not allowing to sync after a finishing a deck the delay got much shorter.
