1.2.9 Stations all Lost Names #2054

Closed issue-tracker[bot] closed 5 years ago

Requested By: Jordan

Priority: 3

Version: 1.2.5

After updating to 1.2.9, the station set name was reverted to "StationSet" and all the stations were renamed to "Station" causing them to not be pulled up correctly until renamed. During which, there was a weird issue when selecting the stations that each one below the ones already renamed would be selected as a group. When renaming the station that was actually selected (the right cards and everything on the right) it would copy all of them again, but be unselectable. Reloading the browser would set them back to what they should be. (I'll attach a picture)

This issue happened in the Phoenix running on Mac, and the Dauntless running on Windows, but did not happen running 1.2.9 in the Magellan running on Linux.

I also had this issue but on v.1.2.8 - reeeeeally screwed up my data. Luckily I restored it through Time Machine and waited until v1.2.9 and it seemed fixed, but you are having issues there. I was also on Mac. My closed issue was #2031 - I chalked it up to a corrupt 1.2.8 update but maybe it persists?

The issue was resolved in 1.2.9. What likely happened with the Phoenix and Dauntless was they upgraded to 1.2.8, got corrupted, and didn't revert back to a correct snapshot.json file after upgrading to 1.2.9.

You'll either have to add the names back in yourself, or restore a backup snapshot.
