Firstly, the selected text needs to start with http(s) or file://. Apart from not being entirely sure accepting a url starting with file:// makes sense, it's annoying if you've selected a little too much text
Secondly it's arbitrarily maxed out at 60 characters
Thirdly if you select text after the url, that gets included too. Obviously you can't subscribe to this. It should at least be truncated at the first space.
