User Story: using valid IDs #3

As a user of 360 giving data I want organisations to have a valid organisation ID so that I can link the data with other data sources

By valid we mean from any id register? Valid against what?

I see this and #4 as complementary. #4 is whether the identifier is in the correct format - eg company numbers should be GB-COH-12345678, etc. This one is about whether the organisation actually exists or not - it's more difficult to check, you need to have an up-to-date list of all the numbers that have ever been issued.
