9 years ago We could either choose an image with more of a blur, or add some opacity and styling to the box the text is in - as the DKAN demo does (e.g. background-color: rgba(10,119,189,0.5) )
A box of summary statistics would be good if easy to include, perhaps in right-hand-column.
I think the help text idea from #7 should come on pages other than front page (e.g. as panel at top of screen when viewing groups or datasets and only when logged in)
Here's a possible sketch of content for the two boxes on the front page, cutting down the text displayed about 360 Giving - and linking off to www.threesixtygiving.org and docs.threesixtygiving.org to provide extra info.
I would then stick with the list of recent publishers under the banner area on the front page for now, with option to do different things with that space in future.
What do you think? If we got this in place, we could then run this all past the communications group for any further tweaks...

Currently I've tried one of the banner options quickly to experiment. But it isnt the best image as it has many sharp lines, so makes text hard to read. Something more blurry might be better. Any suggestions welcome!
