Map layers get duplicated

Expected Behavior

After upgrading from v3 to v4 the maps have the same number of layers.

Actual Behavior

For some maps the layers where duplicated. Newer layers do provide the 'i' info button but do not adhere to the old names. Old layers have there correct names but do not show the 'i' button. The 'i' button issue will be seperated from this one.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

a. migrate old instance to new v4

• sorry we did fix this issue manually by deleting all duplicates on atlas.thuenen.de - there is nothing to see anymore.

Specifications

• Old GeoNode Version: https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/releases/tag/3.3.3 (with some changes to GeoServer and security backports)
• New GeoNode version: https://github.com/Thuenen-GeoNode-Development/thuenen_atlas/releases/tag/v4.2.5

we did fix this issue manually by deleting all duplicates on atlas.thuenen.de
