Even if the users location is too far away from public transportation for Apple Maps to provide transit directions, a button will appear in the event details for public transportation. It will also erroneously show the travel time to be 0 minutes.
This should be resolved either by not showing an option for public transit, or with an indication and alert that no public transit options are available.
