Energy Siphon question #151

I'm using 1.10.2 and am wondering how the Energy Siphon works as far as Tesla generation. What exactly do I do with it?

Ok, here is an example:

The magnezone is on the energy siphon, and using Tesla Essentials cable, I am transfering the energy into the capacitor (also from tesla essentials)

I just threw this into one of my random instances, hence the funny texture pack, but the gold looking block behind the energy siphon is a redstone block, having the magnezone getting energy sucked out of it makes it get hungry, but magnezone can get full again by being near redstone blocks.
