Models not appearing #310

Open fieryxx7 opened 6 years ago

fieryxx7 commented 6 years ago

Issue Description: When loading up a world, many of the pokemon will not appear. They will have the names above, sometimes the health bar, but the model itself doesn't appear. The issue seems to be some confliction with any sort of Shadermod, as turning shaders off will resolve the issue so long as I completely close out Minecraft. If I boot up a world, then turn shaders on, the models once again disappear and will not appear again even if I turn shaders off, until I restart the entire game.

What happens: Models do not appear when any shaders are on.

What you expected to happen:I expect models to appear, or to find some fix that will allow me to use shaders with this mod since I do so enjoy it.

Steps to reproduce:

1.Start new world

  1. Turn shaders on.
  2. ...

Affected Versions (Do not use "latest"):

Does optifine even support forge models yet? last time I checked it did not support the custom forge block models, so it probably won't support the mobs properly either

Idk. I've been getting it to work for the most part. It's just this weird thing. I did figure a workaround last night before sleeping. Or at least I managed to get it to work by finding another shader and booting the game up after turning the shader on and closing out. Sorta like how I had to close out the game to turn the shader off. I'll post which shader it was when I get home in a few so you can try it. I do know I can run optifine alongside forge though. So long as it's not go the Shaders Mod. Took me forever to realize that the Shaders Mod was the problem when putting them both in the mod folder. Completely removed the Shaders Mod and that fixed that problem. I can post a picture of the debug if you'd like. Idk how to post pictures though.

if you use windows, you can get an image from snipping tool and then just paste it into the text box for the issue, it should upload and embed the image

i have the same problem, and it only happen when i turn on shaders while i am in the game, wich mean it probably come from the fact that resources are reloaded, maybe there is a way to fix this ?
