Players seem to stay "on" even after logging off the server #102

Issue Description:

Having a weird problem on 1.15.2 where players appear to be permanently logged in (although they do get kicked off after the server stops or restarts) which as one would expect causes a lot of lag, its appears as though the chunks around them stay loaded as if they were on. Players that join show up in multicraft as [thutessentials/] : playername these players also cannot be kicked from the server via multicraft.

What happens:

players show up as being on the server on multicraft and keeps the RAM usage at 100%

What you expected to happen:

Players not remaining "connected" once they log off the server.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Get a forge 1.15.2 server
  2. Install Thut Essentials + Perms
  3. Join the server
  4. Leave the server
  5. Look at the list of connected players and cpu/ram usage on multicraft

I reproduced it in a server with ONLY essentials+perms

Affected Versions (Do not use "latest"): Replace with a list of all mods you have in.

-Thutperms: 1.15.2-3.0.6

can you replicate this issue without multicraft in any way? I have not noticed things staying in the server's player list normally...
