Bottomless compost bucket - Charges not depleted when animation cancelled

1. Used bucket on empty herb patch
2. Used seed on herb patch, near the end of the bucket animation, as to cancel it
3. Charges shown on bucket not depleted, needs to be checked

Charges should go down when animation has begun, not ended, to avoid this. This is also when the game considers the compost is used.

Easily replicable, and screenshots would provide little value.

It works based on chat message, not animation. Try to check again and also if you see message about it.

I have noticed this happening to me as well. I can confirm I do see the chat message, but occasionally the charges don't decrease after a use. From my latest farm run it seemed to happen most often when I use the bottomless bucket on a patch, then quickly click on the seed in my inventory that I want to plant before the animation finishes.

If I let the animation finish before clicking on anything else it always decreases properly.
