Add name and version attrs to package.json #1075

Fixes #1074, which occurs when node versions less than 0.10 are used

The build failed for a reason not to do with this change (the reason it's failing is odd - it should not be happening).

We'll have to think as to whether or not we care about updating the version here to match the version in setup.py. Given that the version here will never be used, it might be worth adding a note somewhere saying it can be ignored.
