Besides using TiddlyWiki for recording research and for online lookup, I often printed tiddlers for offline reference or for presentation. The ability to print is not in TiddlyDesktop.

Opening a TiddlyWiki file in Opera, Chrome, or even Edge, affords printing, but it is extra steps to open a browser, find the appropriate TiddlyWiki file, open the Tiddler I want, and print it. Having print functionality in TiddlyDesktop would be convenient.

Hi @swwright are you using TiddlyWiki 5? If so, you can use the "print" button in the "Tools" tab of the sidebar to print the current page:

Hi @Jermolene. Printing in TiddlyDesktop of the "page" is fine as normal.

The problem is when you want to print one Tiddler only. Normally one does this by open in new window and then either right-click in page to get a print option or use a print shortcut like Ctrl-P. Neither is available for TiddlyDesktop as fas I can see.

FWIW, I often felt that individual Tiddlers in normal TW would benefit from a print option too (i.e. like "open in new window" but additionally invokes the print dialogue). Maybe that would also overcome this issue in TiddlyDesktop?

UPDATE: A workaround for this issue, printing individual tiddlers, or several opened in a "new window" is the recent plugin "PrintRiver" ...

@Jermolene : I use TWC. Any ideas for a printout through TD?
