There are many old posts talking about spellchecking in TiddlyDesktop, stressing the difficulty to add such functionality, and pointing to some possible options, from the CodeMirror plugin to the possibility that NW.js will natively support it at some point.
Unfortunately I found that none of these offer a viable, practical solution, so it would be nice to have an update about the situation, and any future directions.
We can't deny that spellchecking is just a fundamental aspect for a personal wiki, and I am worried as I heard and saw many newcomers moving away from TiddlyWiki because of this missing aspect from TiddlyDesktop (especially after the TiddlyFox Apocalypse).
I've stopped using TiddlyDesktop for the time being because of the spell checker that comes with Chrome. Is there anyway to incorporate this into TiddlyDesktop?
