Hi @dorneanu I notice that you don't have any links in the wiki (ie tiddlers tagged $:/tags/Link
).
The purpose of sites.json
is to define the wikis that contributing editors are using to gather the links that you see on links.tiddlywiki.com. You'd only add your site if you were volunteering to be a contributing editor.
If you just want to have your site listed on links.tiddlywiki.com, then I or another contributing editor can add a link to it for you.
Hi @Jermolene,
ahh, now I understand. Does that mean I need to $:/tags/Link
to some tiddler in my wiki? Or do you add a new tiddler (with the URL set to my site) and you tag it?
Thanks in advance.
And since we're discussing this I actually have 2 links to be added:
Hi @dorneanu I'm happy to add your links, but that's not exactly how things are intended to work. Rather, there's a team of contributing editors who are recording useful links on behalf of the community and publishing them here. If you want to get your stuff listed, the best approach is to make a post to the main Google Group so that the editors will see it, and anyone else who is interested. Just adding a new link to links.tiddlywiki.com is unlikely to make it particularly visible to very many people.
I see. Should I add the links into the original thread or should I create a completely new thread?
Both sites will be of interest to a lot of people, but maybe have slightly different audiences. I'd suggest posting about brainfck.org on the main forum, but posting to the "Discussions" section of TW5's GitHub about the serverless site.
I've posted both links to https://jermolene-links.tiddlyhost.com and so they will show up on links.tiddlywiki.com shortly.
Thanks a lot! I didn't know about the "Discussions" section on Github. That's really interesting. I guess we can close this PR.
Thanks for such a great software and your efforts maintaining this lovely community.
Thanks @dorneanu! Much appreciated, and many thanks for your contributions.
After reading https://links.tiddlywiki.com/pages/about/ I thought I should give this a try. I'm just adding my personal Zettelkasten/bibliography available at https://brainfck.org.
