Me and the dev talked about this via email. In Android Nougat you cannot access your closest wifi connections via the quick settings anymore like you could with android marshmellow. He is looking into how to implement a Wifi tile that allows the user to have a dialog popup of either the saved wifi networks or closest wifi networks. (I'm not sure how hard he is making it on himself) 😬😅 Eitherway the whole point of this request is to allow a user to pull down their quick settings and tap on a wifi tile to pop up a wifi manager menu as an overlay on your screen in front of the app you are in. There is another quick method he could implement as well as a second option. He could allow you to pick a wifi network in the tiles app and assign that wifi network to a tile in your quick settings for quick and easy connect. Thank you for reading.
