The workaround proposed in TillmannBerg/Ubuntu-Dell-XPS-15-2019 works well. However, if 'Night Light' is enabled (this is a feature included under Settings > Devices > Screen Display), the screen toggles back and forth between the warm and cold colour settings whenever the brightness is adjusted.

I tried a similar workaround for the screen brightness from ArchWiki but this results in the same issue.
