Open MrWildanMD opened 2 weeks ago

MrWildanMD commented 2 weeks ago

sometimes when i try to switch on-off a component why the style is changing from lightning icon to standart switch? then when i rebooted the home assistant it come back normal to lightning icon again, and when the power is on the icon color tint should be orange (in my case) but it just a short time and turn to gray so i dont know the exact state of the component

Thanks in advance.

Hi @MrWildanMD, thanks for reporting this! Could you share a bit more detail about the issue? A screenshot or screen recording would be awesome to help me understand better. Also, have you noticed if this happens with other themes, or just with Graphite? Looking forward to your input so we can dig into it!

it's kinda sometimes the icon changing itself to default switch icon or sometimes it cant reflect the state on/off but the normal switch does, so for now I just let the icon acting weird like that (idk if I missconfig it or it's really a bug) Thanks

Thank you for providing more details! From the video shared, I don’t see any indication that Graphite is causing this issue. Have you tested this with the default theme or any other custom themes to determine if the issue persists? This could help pinpoint whether the problem is theme specific or unrelated.

so that wasn't a bug? I mean, should I need specify icon in the yaml?

I'm not saying this isn't a bug, but I don’t believe it's related to the theme. Graphite only affects the visual appearance and doesn't alter functionality or icon visibility. I recommend asking for help in the general Home Assistant forums, as this seems more like a configuration issue to me.
