From Umbracov7.7+, they don't use .btn-group under .umbraco-panel-header, and it seems $compile must be referenced under the controller.js. I added those changes and upgraded Umbraco to v7.11.1 in the pull request #13. It works for Umbraco v7.7+ up to the latest versionv7.11.1. I haven't checked if it works for v7.6, but it definitely breaks inv7.4.3 or lower.
