Login modal doesn't close on map screen after logging in #56

I just pulled recent and tested this and when I logged in on the map screen, the page got refreshed so this wasn't an issue? Is the desired behavior?

That is the desired behavior. This bug has been happening for me from time to time for awhile now, but never consistently. I wouldn't mark it as closed yet, but we an investigate when it happens again.
