12000 BC terrain #104

The landscape in 12000 BC Manhattan would only have been 1-3m higher on average. Most of the "sculpting" erosion took place in the 2.5MM years prior to the retreat of the Laurentide Ice Sheet. Once it retreated, Manhattan was basically formed.

We should make sure the 12000 BC landscape is not too different (e.g. the rocky Governor's Island we now have) from its 1609 version.
