What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. opening a .sav file
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'm not sure what's expected as I'm trying out the program for the first time.

"Error: CRC Error or Corrupt Save File."

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v.1.5.1.0

Windows 7 Home Premium

Please provide any additional information below.
Uhmm.. I guess my question is this: should this be working if I took the save
from the folders created from a downloaded game (in this case, New Super Mario
Bros. 2), or do I have to use a dumping program to properly extract the game
image/save files?

SD savegames are not save dumps. Save dumps are dumped from the save flash on
the cartridge using an R4i Save Dongle / NDS Adaptar Plus.
Plus, New super mario bros 2 wouldn't work anyway because of new encryption
system introduced on firmware 2.1
