I think the Solar setup we have right now is perfect for a first pass, but we should likely be able to make it smaller. this can be trial and error w/ panels and batteries, and knowing the microcontroller constraints:

An active OpenMV R2 w/uSD card requires 170mA @ 3.3V (https://openmv.io/products/openmv-cam-h7-r2)
Particle boron (from USB) seems to want 500mA @ 3.3V (https://docs.particle.io/reference/datasheets/b-series/brn404x-datasheet/)..

additionally, the devices can power off/sleep during nighttime hours...
