Not at the moment. We're relying on google services for the pushnotifications, so complying to the fdroid policy is a big effort. If you want, you can create a PR for this.

I haven't looked into the source so creating a PR for this is a bit over my head currently. Perhaps you can take into account making the dependency on GSF optional. Signal has done so as well. They just have different demands hence Signal isn't in fdroid.
