As detailed in #22, moving the project metadata from the setup.py to the pyproject.toml file will be required for keeping the module up to date with the recent advancements in the packaging architecture of Python. This PR, does so, without bringing any modifications to the metadata or structure of the project. The now useless setup.py file was removed.
