Map Vanishes as I move the robot #379

When I start the mapping process the map, as i move on the map of the initial starting point vanishes.

You can try changing the decay rate, tree height in rviz config file.

I am using Default Value Decay Rate = 0 Tree Height = 684

What values should I set ?

Try increasing the tree height.
