Fix Vore Panel #164

Panel keeps popping up when closed if digesting someone.

Also, preferences are not always loaded when the game starts. This is getting rather annoying.

As for the second note, it seems to check the user's default slot for loading preferences. Would hard coding the value to 1 work better?
