My wallet is gone after update can’t restore I have wallet address #66

Same for me. And I even had the code to restore wallet but xrp says it’s not correct. Plus when I try to make another wallet the 6 digit code does not work either. What the heck.

No need to use your desktop wallet app or local backup: at least as long as you have the public address, PIN (used to open wallet) and passphrase.

There is a web based (locally running script) Toast Wallet: https://toastwallet.github.io/browser/

And then follow the guide to migrate to some other wallet - e.g. XUMM: https://support.xumm.app/hc/en-us/articles/360018135840-How-to-migrate-from-Toast-Wallet-to-XUMM

Unfortunatelly, I found the XUMM guide too late and sent my XRP to a new account in XUMM instead of restoring the old Toast account. So, I have ended up with two accounts with 20 XRP reserve on each...

15 XRP out of 20 XRP reserve can be recovered, though. Citing Reddit post: "It is possible to delete the account from the ledger (costs 5 XRP) with the balance sent to the address specified. XUMM.Community has a tool for this."
