I modified the height of the widget so it could fit in 1 standard size row in a launcher as described in the Google widget UI guidelines.

I didn't know that github pull requests would automatically add my future commits.

The Widget size changes are up through a117c87.

This now covers all the essential changes I wanted to see. I've been running it for a while now without incident. I may at some point look at going to scrollView / listView for the history list, but not near term.

You should think about having this added to Fdroid. I think people there might be interested in an open source search widget that provides flexibility in search and browser options. I know I was.
