Add support for the Quectel LTE EC25 with a SIM slot #1

Hello,

I love the work that I'm seeing here and look forward to fabricating my own board for my Pinebook Pro. That said, I was wondering if you could please make a second revision for those who wish to add cellular capabilities to their Pinebook. Currently the Quectel LTE EC25 is being utilized in the Pine ecosystem in the Pinephone, and I think it would make a great addition to the Pinebook for those on the go. I don't know how much the board components would have to be rearranged to add a SIM slot, but I know I'm not the only one who'd appreciate it.

Thank you.

That would be possible. I should be able to squeeze a nano SIM socket on there.

While that is true the Quectel LTE EC25 is a module designed to be soldered onto a PCB. I'd like to use just a M.2 B-Key socket since it could then be used with any M.2 LTE modem.

Awesome! Thank you! And yes, I agree, just an M.2 slot or a Mini PCIe would work great. Though to clarify, I have only seen the EC25 as a Mini PCIe module in the prototyping photos and in my searches on eBay, and that is what I had meant. Having to solder on a modem would be a pain and a half. Best of luck, and stay safe!
