i did all the steps (downloaded release, extracted to steam folder, etc) and nothing happens when i press tab

hmm, when you load the game, does it give you a runtime error or just an error in general?

no it just doesnt open the menu

if i open it straight from the exe it gives me this

Reinstall Geometry Dash and install GDH again
