What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Unzip the attached file to
/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/distribution/bundles/
2. Run Firefox
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The XPI is supposed to install bookmarks. The issue seems to be that the
version string gets set before it checks to see if it is supposed to install
bookmarks and preferences. If I go to about:config and decrement the version
and restart Firefox, then everything works as expected.
The rest of the CCK works as expected, i.e. preferences are set and the
homepage is changed properly.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OSX 10.8.3
Please provide any additional information below.
Attached is a zip of the entire xpi/ folder (renamed to the name of my plugin)
