Goal

To ensure readable body text

Elements

The root element html. Other elements can inherit from this.

Consideration

Use relative font size & unitless line-height to give users control over their browsing experience. See @resource11 article on 24a11y
Reduce eye strain by using background/foreground other than white and black. Ensure it passes WCAG Success Criterion for Minimum Contrast Ratio for Level AAA.
Default to system font stack. They are legible, native to users, and with better performance.

Customizable

font size. Defaults to 100℅ of browser's default (16px). Devs may change this to account for typeface with smaller x-height
font stack. See @ireade article for default
line-height. Will be a value between 1.5 - 1.8 that works well for most fonts in the stack above.
background/foreground color
