Force close on empty sms text

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. send "sms:X:" as the chat message, where X is some contact name in your 
address book. In my case, X had several numbers. Keep the sms body blank as 
above. 
2. Gtalksms will force close. I use it on Galaxy S2

What is the expected output?
Expected output is to give error that body is blank

What do you see instead?
force close

Additional informations:
Phone model: Samsung Galaxy S2 (rooted)
Android 2.3.1

It should be obvious but do not include the quotes in the message "sms:X:"
