anon source checkout fails

mercurial version 1.9.3

I did check out a few other mercurial projects so it I am pretty sure my 
version is not completely broken. What could be the problem?

I use Mercurial 2.0.2 with TortoiseHG without any trouble.
I suppose that you have the same issue for all project with mercurial hosted by 
google code.
I put this bug as invalid because it's not related to the app.

Tried it again today, with exactly the same configuration on my end and it 
worked on first attempt.

Weird, because when I filled the bug I tried several times over several days 
and it did not work. Even stranger, it did always abort in nearly the same 
place, after downloading approx 24MB.

Certainly not fond of mercurial.
