@SkyzohKey If I'm not mistaken, it's not the exact same algorithm as described in this spec.

since now 2 clients use this spec (TRIfA and qTox). its sort of a defacto standard

toxcore repository is not the right place for putting client feature specifications. The TCS repo sounds like the right place, since this concerns the client interoperability.
