I understand this might be related to some environment issue of my local machine, but I couldn't figure it out. Could anyone shed some light on me? I have CentOS 6.3 as my local machine.
(Fortunately, I'm able to install it on Ubuntu and just started to play around.)

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
