I can't figure out a solution to this and it's been killing me...
When I import a layer from illustrator (let's say an object that has multiple layers to it but it's all grouped), and I try to add a motion tween (as it's the only type allowed on a grouped object) and I parent this grouped object to another object- when I export to SVG it breaks up the motion tween into keyframes, but upon doing so, it breaks the parenting and the grouped objects exports to random locations.
I don't have this problem with shape tweens and parenting, only motion tweens.

Any idea how to resolve this?
