WBS and Gantt Chart

The Work Breakdown Structure and Gantt Chart can be discussed here. We can tick off each section as we go. This issue is created for us to be able to discuss the issue  Feel free to add checkboxes for any tasks I may have missed.

NOTE: There is a separate issue being created for task delegation/"resource allocation"

Work Breakdown Structure

Bruce left a comment on facebook outlining what we need to have in our WBS.

work breakdown structure (tasks) at a detailed level,
and the length of time each task is expected to take.

It looks pretty similar to what we have in our Gantt Chart so far. Their content is pretty much the same, so I've bundled them together as one issue. Click here to view the WBS wiki page

Judging by Bruce's comment on facebook about what the WBS needs, it looks like our Gantt chart will just be the same content, but thrown into MS Project to display a nice graph.

I've changed the title of the page to better reflect the contents of it. https://github.com/TomHulme/306-Swarm-Robotics-Project/wiki/WBS-and-Task-Decomposition

Awesome! Thanks Theo.

Hey guys. For testing, I think its time should be exactly the same as any of the code we have to write, because code should be tested as it is made. Does anyone else have any ideas for this?

johnlmbrt commented 11 years ago

Yeah, thats a good idea Tom, I think it should be the same for Documentation as well
