IndieQuilt was a project where multiple game developers were all going to create a 30-second game with 10 different difficulty layers. One game developer was going to "quilt" all the games together into one large game, but that turned out to be too difficult.
You start at difficulty 1. If you get it, you move to the next higher difficulty after a few second pause.
If you fail, you can haven them re-try the same difficulty.
To make it extremely challenging, if they fail a difficulty level, take them back one level and make them re-do.
Difficulty 1: Match 2 pics
Difficulty 2: Match 3 pics
Difficulty 3: Match 3 words
Difficulty 4: Match 3 pics or words
Difficulty 5: Match 4 pics
Difficulty 6: Match 4 words
Difficulty 7: Match 4 pics or words
Difficulty 8: Match 5 pics
Difficulty 9: Match 5 words
Difficulty 10: Match 5 pics or words
This would be a 3rd game mode.
