exploerer crash when increasing preview creation file size limit

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create a GIMP xcf file with 10,1 MB of size
2. open the folder the file is in in thumbnail mode
3. see that there is no thumbnail for that fail
4. right click on the file and launch sagethumbs sub menu for clicking config 
options
5. change thumb creation file size limit from 10 (default) to 25 MB
6. hit admin-ok button
7. wait until file progress bar on updating "associates" has passed
8. see explorer crash and restart the whole desktop environment

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
explorer should not crash

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

oops, version went to wrong line. OS is windows vista home premium 32 bits.
