Did you saved PSD with previews?
Did you checked "Max file size" option in SageThumbs?

Please install AFPL Ghostscript 8.54 64-bits (gs854w64.exe) for AI support.

Is there a solid resolution for this? I think I know what I screwed up on my
computer and why my icons disappeares, I uninstalled ghostscript and the icons
disappeared. Problem is, I don't know which one I should have. I see the
comment to use AFPL Ghostscript 8.54 64-bits (gs854w64.exe) for AI support but
on http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/ the version mentioned was released in 2006
and it doesn't say anything about Win7 64-bit, which I am running also.
I'm looking for a fix because I lost my PS icons.

Ok...I found the right file...but didn't do anything. I said above that I was
looking for PS icons...typo...I'm trying to get back my PSD icons. If I set it
to the default settings I get the icon for Irfan viewer, my image viewer. If I
run the fix then it shows a white paper looking icon for them all.
Any help out there?

I'm experiencing the same problem. Just installed sagethumbs 2.0.0.15 and
gs854w64 on a Win764bit computer with Photoshop CS6 installed and all of the
PSD thumbnails on my desktop have gone white (see attached file). Is there a
fix to this please?

Looks like the instructions at the top of this site (change the sagethumbs
settings) fixes the problem and gives you a preview of the PSD artwork instead
of the default PSD icon (see new screenshot attached)

It worked for me, when I changed the maximum file size in option. I changed it
from 10 to 1000.

Hi, I had put a link to the site with instructions on how to fix but looks as
though this link has been removed.
Basically, you need to open SageThumbs for your version of Windows, then change
the "Maximum size of image file" (I changed mine to 500MB). This way, and PSD
fils that you have up to 500MB in size will show as a thumbnail preview instead
of a white thumbnail.
FYI, I also deselected all of the supported file types on the right and only
ticked the PSD box.
Hope this helps

Filesize max is likely your problem, more often than not, your PSDs are likely
larger than the default 10MB

I downloaded both the newer version of ghostscript and the one listed here and
I think I just don't know what to do with them. I'd love some help with this
cause I LOVE this thing and the only thing keeping it from being a 10/10 is
that Ai thing. hope to hear from you soon
