It would be great if entries in this list could be sorted alphabetically.

Hi @cakiki - they actually are alphabetically sorted, there are just two separate groups. At the start there is a small group of commonly used packages and then the rest of the list follows alphabetically.

Would it be more intuitive to add a line break between the groups?

Ah I see! Thank you for explaining.

I think it would make it more intuitive, yes. I struggled to find scipy earlier as I expected it to be right next to scikit-learn.

Out of curiosity, when does a package qualify for the smaller first group?

Great I'll set it up to add a break there.

Honestly we don't have a proper rule yet, we probably should think about that, we've currently just added those that are typically used frequently in Astronomy research.
